Tuckahoe is excited to announce our new head coach for the summer of 2017…Jamie Davidson

Jamie Davidson began diving at the age of 6 with a club team based out of LaSalle University in Philadelphia, PA. From ages 8 through 18, Jamie dove for Chris Bergere. Beginning when he was 11 years old, Jamie made it to Nationals each year and most years made it to finals. As a 16 to 18 year old diver, Jamie won Junior Olympic Nationals and, as a result, was selected to attend the Junior World Championships that year.

Jamie attended college for 3 years at LaSalle University, diving for coach Chris Bergere. When Chris left to become a dive coach at the University of Michigan, Jamie transferred to the University of Texas to finish out his college diving career.

Jamie currently works at Advanced Behavioral Modeling, Inc., and is a dive coach at Dominion Dive Club. Jamie has been coaching dive in the DC area for 7 years, and was the head coach at Pinecrest Swim and Tennis Club for the past 5 years.

Tuckahoe is thrilled to welcome back our senior assistant coach for the summer of 2017...Claire Lewis.

Claire Lewis first started diving in the NVSL at age 7 with Dominion Hills Pool.  At 11 she moved to the TRC Flying Tigers and dove every season until she graduated from high school in 2014.  She began coaching at Tuckahoe when she was 16 and has come back every season. Claire's most memorable experience while diving in the NVSL was when she won Divsionals in 2011 as a first year senior girl.  As a coach, Claire absolutely loves working with divers of all skill levels.

Claire is in her fourth year at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia.  She is studying Liberal Studies for Early and Elementary Education, or teaching for short.  She will graduate in May 2019 with her Master’s in Teaching.
